HUE MURAL FESTIVAL IN HOUSTON

I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in this year's HUE MURAL FESTIVAL in Houston, Texas which took place in the middle of October.  Over 100 international and local artists created over 80 new and unique murals. It was such a great time and experience to connect and re-connect with old friends and new ones.

Title: "Reaching for the Tip Top"
Location: 2801 Polk St, Houston, TX 77003

Here's a time lapse video of the wall I painted entitled

Some final pics of the wall as well as in progress shots...

Special thanks to Gonzo247 and Carolyn for organizing such a great event! Big ups to my trusty assistant Logan, Frankel's Costume Shop for giving up your walls, the Holiday Inn for hooking up the rooms and all who had something to do with HUE MURAL FESTIVAL 2016!

THANK YOU!!

LIVE PAINTING: LA TOCADA FESTIVAL

Got to do some live art during La Tocada Festival, a latino rock music festival which took place in an indoor/outdoor Santa Ana venue called The Observatory.

Admittedly, I got a little political on this one. I don't usually like telling people who to vote for but in this case I will tell them who not to vote for!!

Man One x Hola Mexico Film Festival 2015

In support of the Hola Mexico Film Festival, I have created an installation/exhibit at

Grand Central Market

317 S. Broadway in Downtown LA, CA 90013

(Hill St.

entrance)

It is currently up and running thru May 17th, 2015.

The theme of the installation is "Mexican Cinema" and includes portrait paintings

of iconic figures in Mexican cinema

like

Maria Felix, El Santo, Cantinflas, and others as

well as hand painted movie reels that will look cool in any home or office.
